Senior Construction Consultant

This is a role for a professional with strong data/analytical and project management skills to join the Consultancy Services team on a full-time basis to contribute to client commissions. The successful candidate will have:

• A background in a Construction discipline
• Previous Quantity Surveying experience, but now looking to move into a consultancy role
• Experience in handling large data sets and manipulating data/spreadsheets & reporting outcomes from data analysis.

The successful candidate will be involved in managing both staff and projects and be responsible for winning work, client liaison and project delivery. Furthermore, the candidate will have the opportunity to work on a number of international assignments and should be willing/able to travel (particularly throughout Europe).

Duties include working with colleagues, to provide data analysis and management services to clients on consultancy commissions. Typical tasks include:

• Proposal development, project delivery and client engagement
• Dashboard development including PowerBI visualisation
• Performance reporting and analysis
• Bespoke statistical analyses based on client data.

Minimum 5-years post-graduate experience in data analysis/management with a focus on the construction industry.

Further, demonstrable experience in project management and client development gained through previous/current employment.

Ideally the successful candidate will have:

• Excellent Excel skills, comfortable with large and complicated Excel based models
• Experience with statistical packages and data visualisation software is advantageous
• Data extraction and analysis expertise
• Excellent analytical skills
• Experience summarising complex data sets into concise reports.
