Financial Controller

As Financial Controller you will be responsible for the day to day management of the finance function and will oversee the production of monthly financial reporting, monthly board reports and financial KPIs.

Reporting to the COO/CFO, you will be a member of the senior management team and play a lead role in building and developing the finance team and financial processes.

• Management of the day to day finance function and team including credit control and treasury
• Financial controls, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, tax, compliance audits
• Statutory & management reporting
• Financial modelling of changes and opportunities
• Financial operations including transactional and credit control
• Extraction and reporting of KPI’s
• Input into HR operations and strategic activities
• Provision of legal support where appropriate
• Input into GDPR
• Input into IT infrastructure, hardware, and business support systems.

• Building out the finance function and team
• Regular performance reporting to the team, SLT and monthly to the Board
• Compliance and statutory reporting
• Implementation of successful business systems, policies and processes.

• Qualified accountant with at least 3 years experience in industry
• Strong technical accounting ability
• Experience of a wider role beyond finance (in areas such as HR, IT, Legal)
• Experience of producing KPIs and helping driving performance and helping to develop a commercially aware team
• Experience of working in a Private Equity backed environment and in M&A activities.
