To be responsible for managing and delivering content to align with BCIS’ growth plans. You will be responsible for producing compelling content that engages and influences audiences and prospects at each stage of their buying journey

  • Produce timely and engaging content to help BCIS Products achieve financial targets.
  • Develop and publish all types of technical data driven, high-quality engaging content. From quick reaction pieces to in-depth reporting, interviews and ghost writing if required.
  • Contribute to customer insight and internal knowledge sharing processes.
  • Work with key stakeholders to analyse and assess the impact of content production.
  • Coordinate and monitor timelines for new content development initiatives.
  • To be on-hand to help other stakeholders to enhance copy and provide additional content.
  • Support members of the Sales Engagement Team with proofing, copy best-practice and appropriate presentation/distribution of sales proposals.
  • Oversee the collation, management and distribution of product case studies and testimonial content.
  • Help to ensure brand consistency and legal compliance (e.g. copyright and data protection) across all commercial content.
  • Nurture relationship with PR Agency, to ensure all good opportunities to build brand awareness are fulfilled.
  • Help to develop and deliver BCIS’ commercial content strategy.
  • Achieve/exceed performance targets based on content influence and engagement KPIs (including leads and page conversions).
  • Define and develop a best practice model and implement across marketing – support at team when required.
  • Collaborate with wider teams to ensure consistent organisation wide approach to content and alignment where relevant.
  • Analyse, assess and report on impact of content.
  • Degree educated preferable, ideally from a creative writing, communication studies or journalism related degree.
  • Able to produce data driven technical information to make it easily digestible for all.
  • Brilliant writing ability with a proven track record.
  • Journalistic/PR background an advantage
  • Construction sector/Data experience would be advantageous.
  • Excellent writing skills in English
  • Excellent editing skills.
  • Great communicator.
  • Good researching and investigating skills.
  • Ability to get to grips with complex topics and quickly write engagingly and to a deadline.
  • Capacity to work with minimum supervision.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to collaborate with several stakeholders and project management organisation-wide projects.
  • Proven experience of concepting, planning, and delivering content-led campaigns for a range of clients, to a tight deadline
  • Be curious and creative minded with an ability to conceive interesting new ideas for new content.
  • A clear passion for, or experience working within the built environment sector would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Able to build strong networks and relationships and manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders within the team, across the wider business and externally.
