Time to retrofit: de-carbonising UK buildings and economic recovery

Research by BCIS has revealed a huge market potential for energy renovations in the UK, considering the energy savings and associated carbon emission reductions, coupled with the potential of job creation.

This study presents a set of scenarios designed to demonstrate the job creation opportunity from further incentivising retrofits of existing building stock, and calculates the potential energy savings associated with the renovations.
